Logo Design & Branding
Your logo is an extremely important asset to your brand and business. It will quite often precede you in business dealings and if it’s not up to scratch, it can negatively influence people's interpretation of you and your business before you've even had a chance to make that first impression.
A well executed logo design should naturally carry 4 main traits:
In a business environment, you need to be instantly & permanently sharp.
To stand out, be memorable & fresh.
It must easily tell the story and relate to of the core message of your business.
Will it scale down to a business card? A billboard? Will it fax okay?
Achieving these 4 things simultaneously is a pretty exciting challenge. It’s a competitive market whatever industry you’re in, so taking the time to get it right first time round is vital if your company logo is going to work hard to connect with your potential clients.
Our logo design process follows these 4 main steps:
Who are your target audiences? What are the core values of your business? Who are your competitors and what are they doing that you can do better?
Ideas & Conceptualisation
There are a million different possibilities; we’ll go through your ideas and our ideas in a process that begins on a sketch-pad.
Develop & Refine
Converting the preliminary logo design ideas from paper to screen, revising these and developing the concept, then working to refine further by fine-tuning lines and overall construction quality of the logo design.
Colours & Environment
The entire process up until this point is usually done in black, white and greys. The introduction of colour and deciding how the logo will operate in its environments such as signage, stationery, website etc is one of the final steps before finalising the artwork.
